Request
How do I post a request?
The entire request is created exclusively online through an intuitive form. To submit a complete request you need to precisely specify the route, the required date, the timetable, the total number of passengers and any additional specifications of the planned journey. Submitting the form is conditional on completing a quick registration. Immediately after a successful submission, the entire request is automatically published on the platform, where only relevant and fully verified carriers can respond right away with their specific price offers.
Is posting a request binding?
Simply submitting a request into the system does not represent any commitment whatsoever, and the entire process is completely free of charge. This initial step serves solely as a non-binding way to approach the market in order to gather real price offers from transport providers. Before making a final decision you therefore have the ideal opportunity to compare all received options in detail and objectively, which lets you choose the most suitable alternative completely at ease and without any pressure or the need for immediate confirmation.
How many offers can I get?
The total number of responses you receive always depends on the specifics of the particular route, the chosen date, the required vehicle capacity and the current availability of transport providers on the market. The main goal of the Find-Bus platform is to efficiently gather all available price options in one place. This centralized approach completely eliminates the need to spend time calling individual companies and significantly simplifies the whole process of finally selecting the most suitable option.
Is using Find-Bus free?
Yes, the Find-Bus platform is completely free for those requesting transport. Whether you are just trying out the system as an unregistered guest or already using the platform as our fully verified user, creating a request, publishing it and comparing offers costs you nothing at all. You only ever pay for the journey itself to the selected carrier.
Do I have to register before posting a request?
No, you can try out planning a route and filling in the details without any obligation even as an unregistered guest. However, to actually publish your request and start collecting offers from carriers, you need to create an account. Registration then lets you keep all your requests, incoming offers and reservations safely and clearly in one place.
What details do I need to fill in?
The foundation for successfully creating a request is precisely defining the point of departure, the destination, the specific date and time, the total number of passengers and any additional requirements for the vehicle's equipment or the course of the journey itself. There is a direct correlation here: the more detailed and precise all the input information is, the more relevant the price calculations you can expect from transport providers. This careful approach to the initial request ensures maximum efficiency of the whole process and significantly minimizes the need for any additional clarification of details.
Can I post a request for a trip abroad?
The platform fully supports submitting requests for journeys heading abroad as well. Individual transport providers then assess these international routes on a case-by-case basis according to the precisely entered parameters, the required date and their current operating capacity. When the specifications of the order match and a suitable fleet for international journeys is available, presenting relevant price offers is therefore ensured without any problems.
Can I edit a request after submitting it?
Once a request is finally submitted into the system, no further changes can be made to it whatsoever. If you need to change the planned route, the chosen date, the total number of passengers or other key parameters, you must create an entirely new request. This strict procedure reliably ensures that all transport providers always calculate their offers based on fixed and unchanging information, which effectively prevents any misunderstandings throughout the selection process.
Is Find-Bus suitable for small clubs too?
Yes. Find-Bus is suitable for small sports clubs, youth teams, academies and larger organizations. You can submit a request for a single match, tournament, training camp or club event.
Can we handle multiple trips during the season?
Yes, you can use Find-Bus for every individual trip – for example a match, tournament, training camp or club event. We are preparing a feature for more convenient entry of multiple trips across the whole season, so clubs don't have to fill in the same details repeatedly.
What if we carry sports equipment?
In the request you state the number of people and a note about equipment, for example hockey sticks, bags, balls, skis or other sports gear. Carriers then offer a suitable bus with matching space.
Can we have multiple stops along the way?
Of course. If you need to pick up children at another school along the way or plan a longer lunch stop, simply enter these details directly into the request form. Carriers will then account for your exact itinerary in advance and their price offer will be final.
How is it best to organise a bus trip for a larger group?
Start with an exact meeting place and time with a time buffer, and prepare an up-to-date passenger list. Appoint one main coordinator who communicates with the driver and handles questions, and share a simple trip plan with stops with everyone. The clearer the information in advance, the calmer the whole departure.
How long and how frequent should breaks along the route be?
Treat breaks as a fixed part of the plan, not as a delay. On longer routes, regular short stops pay off for stretching, refreshments and hydration. On long-distance trips, mandatory driver breaks set by EU rules also apply — our system checks them automatically when planning the route, so you don't have to worry about them yourself.
Who should be the main contact during the trip?
Ideally one responsible person — the trip organiser, coach or event leader — who has the passenger list and itinerary at hand and communicates directly with the driver. One clear contact prevents confusion and speeds up resolving any situation on the route.
How do I prepare for a longer bus trip abroad?
For trips abroad, allow more time on the route and account for mandatory driver breaks. Think through suitable stops, all passengers' documents and hydration for the longer stretch in advance. A clear itinerary with times and a contact for the coordinator also helps — so you can handle even a long route with ease.
How far in advance should I book a bus?
We recommend not leaving the booking to the last minute. For ordinary one-day trips it is ideal to submit a request at least 3 to 4 weeks ahead. But if you're planning a multi-day tour, a school trip in peak season (May/June) or a trip abroad, definitely start looking even several months before departure. That way you'll be sure of the best prices and a much wider choice of available carriers.
How accurately do you estimate the arrival time?
We don't calculate the arrival time as mere dry data from an ordinary map. By law, buses have a lower permitted speed than passenger cars and need more time to pass through cities or to park. That's why we always include a logistical buffer for safe boarding, loading luggage and traffic, so you have the most realistic schedule possible.
How many breaks are mandatory?
Safety always comes first. Professional drivers must observe strict legal limits. As a general rule, after 4.5 hours of driving there must be a break of at least 45 minutes. We'll gladly help you plan these breaks into the itinerary cleverly, so they coincide, for example, with lunchtime or a visit to an interesting place along the way.
What data do you need for an accurate calculation?
To get the most accurate price, carriers mainly need to know the date, the exact boarding and drop-off points, the number of passengers (for the right bus size) and the schedule. Don't forget to state any stops along the way or special requirements (e.g. oversized luggage, skis or bikes), so you're not surprised by any extra costs later.
Can Find-Bus provide up-to-date information on low-emission zones in Europe?
Find-Bus helps prepare the route and request so that important conditions, restrictions and requirements can be flagged. For specific countries and cities, however, it is always advisable to allow for verifying the current rules before the trip.
Will you help with parking and reservations?
Find-Bus can help prepare the request and flag the need for parking or permits. The reservations themselves and local permits need to be handled according to the specific destination and the agreement with the carrier.
Can I change the date or route after submitting the request?
Once the request has been sent out to carriers, its main parameters (such as the date or route) can no longer be rewritten directly in the system. We do this so that all the offers received stay fair and precisely comparable. If you need to make a substantial change to the request, simply cancel the original one and create a new one with the current details in just a few clicks.
Can I give just an estimate if I don't know the details yet?
Yes. If you don't yet know the exact number of people or the final return time, give an estimate and mark it as approximate. Carriers will send a preliminary price and refine it once you have the details. An estimate is better than an empty field.
Do I have to know the exact number of passengers in advance?
The exact number is ideal for choosing an optimally sized bus and setting an accurate price. But if you don't yet know the final figure, enter the most accurate estimate possible and rather count on a slight buffer. Should the number of passengers change drastically later (and require a different type of bus), it's best to submit a new request.
Is the request really non-binding?
Absolutely. Simply creating and submitting a request into the system does not commit you to anything and is completely free. The process only becomes binding at the moment you pick one specific offer from those received and firmly confirm it by paying the reservation deposit. Until then, everything is entirely in your hands.
How long does it take to process a request?
You submit a request in just a few minutes and usually start receiving the first offers from verified carriers within hours. The exact speed depends on the date and route, but you typically have most offers to compare the same day.
Is the request binding?
No. Submitting a request commits you to nothing, you only get an overview of offers from carriers. You are only committed once you select and confirm a specific offer.
Is the Find-Bus service free?
Yes, for requesters the Find-Bus platform is 100% free. We charge you no reservation, handling, or hidden fees for using the system. Your only investment is the price of the transport itself, offered by your chosen carrier. You pay that safely into our escrow, from where we forward it directly to the carrier once the trip is successfully completed. With us, as a requester you pay nothing extra.
Carrier offers
Who can respond to my request?
Only fully verified carriers who have successfully passed our vetting can respond to your request. In addition, our system automatically matches your journey only with those carriers who are available on the given date and whose vehicle exactly matches your required capacity and equipment.
How do I compare offers?
You will see all the offers you receive clearly listed on a single page. In just a few clicks you can easily compare the offered price, the type and equipment of the bus, or view the carrier's profile directly.
Why do the prices of individual offers differ?
The resulting price calculation always reflects a complex combination of several key factors, which is why the offers submitted by different transport providers may vary. The differences in amounts are primarily driven by the specifics of the route itself, the chosen date, the total number of people and the requirements for the vehicle type and its additional equipment. The final price is then also significantly affected by the current availability of free capacity on the market, the overall time demands of the order including any waiting time on site, and last but not least the individual pricing of each specific provider.
What will I see in an offer?
In the detail of each offer you will see a clearly stated final price for your journey, the exact type and equipment of the offered bus (including its capacity) and the profile of the specific verified carrier. You thus get all the key information in one place so you can confidently choose the best option.
Do I have to choose the cheapest offer?
Not at all - the final decision is always entirely up to you. Price is only one of the factors. When choosing, you can freely take into account the level of the bus's equipment, user ratings and the carrier's overall profile, so that the offer best suits the needs of your journey.
How long is a carrier's offer valid?
The validity of each offer is limited in time, and you will always see the exact limit in its detail. Please note, however, that a carrier can modify or completely delete their offer at any time until you bindingly confirm it. Capacity in transport changes quickly, so we recommend not delaying too long in choosing a suitable offer so you don't lose the bus you want.
Can a carrier change an offer?
Yes. Until you bindingly confirm an offer (select it), it is not locked for the carrier and they can modify or cancel it. Once you accept it, however, it becomes binding for both parties. Any later changes or cancellation of the journey are then governed solely by the unified reservation and cancellation rules of the Find-Bus platform.
What if I get no offers?
This can happen if you are requesting transport on a very busy date or have narrowly specific requirements for the vehicle type. Since a submitted request can no longer be edited retroactively, the best solution is to submit a new one with slightly adjusted parameters. Try, for example, shifting the departure time, changing the boarding point, or - if you have a large group - considering splitting it into two smaller vehicles. This increases the chance of reaching available carriers.
How quickly will I get offers?
You'll usually receive the first offers from carriers within just a few hours. No later than 24 hours after submitting the request you'll have enough price offers available to calmly and clearly pick the most advantageous one for your school.
Is the stated price final, or can it change?
The price the carrier offers you through the platform is final and binding for the route and details you entered in the request. The price would only be adjusted if you yourself changed the request after submitting it – for example by adding another boarding city, significantly extending the waiting time or changing the number of passengers so that a differently sized bus is needed.
Do you include tolls and charges in the offer?
Carriers can include tolls, parking, city entries or other charges in the offer depending on the specific route. The more precisely the route is entered, the more accurate the price can be.
How long does it take to get offers?
You can expect the first responses from verified carriers within just a few hours. No later than 24 hours after submitting the request you'll have enough price offers available to calmly and clearly pick the most advantageous one.
Why is it not worth choosing only by the lowest price?
A suspiciously low price can in practice mean an older fleet, a less experienced driver or hidden fees (e.g. for motorway tolls or parking) that an unfair carrier charges you only on the spot. Through Find-Bus you get transparent offers from vetted professionals, where you see the final price for a complete service. Investing in a reliable carrier is, above all, an investment in your peace of mind and safety.
What if none of the offers suit me?
That is fine. If no offer fits, you do not have to choose any of them. You can edit the request and send it again, or leave it without a selection, you are committed to nothing.
Deposit & payments
What is the deposit and when do I pay it?
The deposit serves as a reservation advance that confirms your serious interest and bindingly blocks the selected bus for you. It is paid immediately after selecting a specific offer. Once the payment is completed, your reservation becomes official. You will always see the exact amount of the deposit transparently calculated before you give final approval to the offer.
Why is a deposit paid?
The deposit works as a fair safeguard for both parties. It gives the customer the certainty that the selected bus is firmly blocked and the carrier will not offer it to anyone else. For the carrier, on the other hand, it provides a financial guarantee of the order, thanks to which they can confidently turn down other orders for that date and devote themselves fully to the confirmed journey. This eliminates the risk of non-binding reservations.
Is the deposit refundable?
The rules for returning the reservation deposit (amounting to 25%) depend on which side cancels the journey. If the customer cancels the reservation, the deposit is non-refundable and serves as compensation for the bus being withdrawn from the offer and blocked. However, if a confirmed reservation is cancelled by the carrier, the entire amount paid is immediately refunded in full to the customer.
How is a deposit refunded?
If a claim for a deposit refund arises (i.e. when a confirmed journey is cancelled by the carrier), the platform initiates the refund process automatically and without delay. The actual crediting of the funds back to the account then depends on the standard time frames of bank transfers or the payment card issuer, which usually takes several business days.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payments are currently made by bank transfer. To make the whole process as simple and fast as possible, however, a payment QR code is automatically generated in the final reservation step. After scanning it in your mobile banking app, all the details (the exact amount, account number and variable symbol) fill in automatically and without error. This removes the need to rewrite anything manually.
Can I pay the deposit by card?
Online card payment is currently not supported. Payment is made exclusively by bank transfer. The whole process is, however, made as simple as possible thanks to an automatically generated payment QR code, which allows for lightning-fast and secure payment via mobile banking.
When will I get a payment confirmation?
Confirmation of a successful payment is sent automatically the moment the amount is physically credited and matched on the platform's bank account. Since payment is made by bank transfer, the processing speed depends on the type of payment entered (an instant payment shows up within minutes, a standard transfer usually by the next business day). As soon as the system registers the payment, the reservation immediately switches to the bindingly confirmed status.
What if the payment doesn't go through?
If the reservation deposit is not paid within the set time limit, the system automatically cancels the unpaid reservation and the bus capacity is released back for other applicants. The final and binding confirmation of the journey occurs only after the required amount has been successfully credited to the platform's account.
Do I pay the full amount up front?
How the payment is split depends on how much time remains before the planned departure. As standard, only a 25% reservation deposit is paid after selecting an offer, with the remaining 75% paid later. For reservations made shortly before departure, the system requires payment in full (100%) right away. For security reasons and to protect the carrier, an uncompromising rule applies: the total transport price must be paid in full before the bus is actually dispatched.
When is the carrier paid?
To ensure maximum security, the platform protects the funds in its account for the entire duration of the reservation. The money is only paid out to the carrier's account after the entire journey has been successfully and smoothly completed. This process guarantees customers that the service will be carried out exactly as agreed, and gives carriers 100% certainty that they have already been paid for their work in advance.
Why isn't the carrier paid immediately?
This procedure works as an independent financial safeguard for all parties involved. It gives customers (and any of their guests) complete peace of mind that the funds are safe and will be handed over to the verified carrier only after the journey has been properly completed. The carrier, on the other hand, has a firm guarantee from the outset that the entire amount for their services has already been deposited and is safely waiting in the platform's account, which completely eliminates the risk of delayed or unpaid invoices.
How does payment for the bus work?
You pay the entire amount completely securely directly through our Find-Bus platform. We hold the money in safe escrow and release it to the carrier only after the service has been successfully completed. If the trip did not take place at all for any reason, we guarantee to return the full amount to you. This gives you 100% certainty and protection of your finances.
Reservation & confirmation
When is a booking confirmed?
The official and binding confirmation of a reservation occurs precisely at the moment the payment is successfully credited to the platform's account. Selecting an offer alone is not enough - the system definitively confirms the reservation and blocks the bus with the carrier only once either the 25% deposit or the full amount is paid, depending on the departure date.
What happens after I select a carrier?
After approving a specific offer, the process moves smoothly to payment. The system promptly generates payment details (including a quick QR code) for paying the 25% deposit, or the full amount if the departure date is approaching. As soon as the required payment is successfully credited to the platform's account, the reservation becomes officially confirmed and the vehicle's capacity is bindingly blocked with the carrier.
When will I get a booking confirmation?
The official reservation confirmation is sent automatically precisely at the moment the system matches the received payment on the platform's account. This document confirms the binding blocking of the vehicle and contains all the key journey details, an order summary and clear instructions for the next steps before departure.
How does the booking work?
The process begins by approving a specific carrier's offer in the system. Payment instructions and a QR code for bank transfer are then generated automatically. The final and binding confirmation of the reservation occurs precisely at the moment the required amount (deposit or full price) is successfully credited to the platform's account. This completes the process and the bus is definitively blocked for the given journey.
What if I select a carrier by mistake?
How this situation is resolved depends entirely on whether payment has already been made. If the wrong selection occurs before the money is sent, the reservation is not binding. However, you must contact the platform's customer support immediately so that the vehicle capacity blocked by mistake can be released right away for other applicants. But once the payment is sent and credited, the process is irreversible and the reservation becomes definitively binding. Any cancellation of such an order is then treated as a standard cancellation, in which the reservation deposit paid is non-refundable and is forfeited as compensation for blocking the verified carrier's capacity.
Will I get the carrier's contact right after selecting?
Direct contact details for the selected verified carrier are displayed only after the required payment has been successfully credited to the platform's account. Until payment is made, the contact details remain hidden, which serves as necessary protection of the system against circumventing the platform and ensures a safe and fair transaction for both parties. Once the reservation is bindingly confirmed by payment, however, the complete contact information is handed over immediately, so that all organizational details of the upcoming journey can be finalized directly and without intermediaries.
Where do I find information about a confirmed trip?
All the details and documents for a bindingly confirmed journey are permanently accessible directly in the platform's user interface in the detail of the specific reservation, and are simultaneously sent automatically by e-mail. This comprehensive summary contains the complete journey specification, the parameters of the selected offer, confirmation of the payment made, the exact contact details of the verified carrier and all other organizational instructions necessary for a smooth journey. The system thus securely brings all key information together in one clear place, where it is available at any time for a quick check.
Can a carrier withdraw after the booking is confirmed?
In entirely exceptional cases, a situation may arise where a verified carrier is unable to carry out a bindingly confirmed journey for objective reasons. If such a cancellation occurs on their side, the system automatically triggers an immediate refund process and the customer is promptly refunded the entire amount paid so far, in full. This direct procedure guarantees one-hundred-percent protection of the funds and ensures that in the event of any failure on the transport provider's side, the customer incurs no financial loss whatsoever and can immediately start looking for a new carrier.
Do you have access to the bus location during the trip?
We do not yet show live, real-time bus tracking in the Find-Bus platform. However, the key details of the trip are confirmed in advance, and if needed the current situation can be handled through the carrier or Find-Bus support.
Can the estimated time of arrival be shared?
Yes, if the carrier supports it technically or agrees on it with the organiser. For school trips, sports events and corporate trips, an arrival estimate can be very useful for keeping the group informed.
Changes & cancellation
Can I change the trip date?
The date of a planned journey cannot be changed after the reservation has been bindingly confirmed. The entire agreement and the blocking of capacity with the verified carrier is firmly tied to the specific date and time specified in the original request. For this reason it is absolutely crucial to plan and double-check the entire timetable before selecting an offer and making payment. Any necessary change of date would mean having to completely cancel the existing reservation, to which the standard cancellation rules would apply (including forfeiture of the reservation deposit), followed by creating an entirely new request.
Can I change the route?
The planned route cannot be freely modified after the request has been submitted, since the carrier's price calculation always strictly derives from the originally entered parameters, distances and time demands. For this reason it is absolutely essential to plan the starting points, destinations and any stops carefully already when creating the request. Once the reservation is bindingly confirmed by payment and the contact details are handed over, any modification of the route is possible solely on the basis of a direct and individual agreement with the selected carrier. It should be noted, however, that the carrier has no obligation whatsoever to accept additional deviations from the original plan, and may make such a change conditional on an adequate increase in the final transport price.
Can I change the number of passengers?
Changing the number of people is possible only up to the maximum capacity of the already reserved vehicle, and after payment it must be communicated directly with the verified carrier. Since the capacity of the entire vehicle is being hired, any reduction in the number of passengers has no effect on the final price. Conversely, if the bus's limit is exceeded, such a change cannot be accepted for safety reasons. In that case the existing reservation must be cancelled, which entails forfeiture of the reservation deposit, followed by creating an entirely new request.
How does cancelling an order work?
The procedure for cancelling a reservation depends primarily on the current payment status. Until payment is sent, the order can be terminated without any financial penalties, releasing the blocked capacity. Once the payment is credited to the platform's account, however, the reservation becomes fully binding. Any subsequent cancellation by the customer is then automatically subject to the cancellation rules, which entails the strict non-refundability of the 25% reservation deposit, which is forfeited as legitimate compensation for the verified carrier.
What if I need to change details in the request?
Once a request has been submitted into the system, its parameters can no longer be changed afterwards. All the entered information, such as the route, the journey date or the number of passengers, serves as a fixed basis for precise price calculations from verified carriers. If these key details need to be changed, it is therefore always necessary to cancel the existing non-binding request and then create an entirely new one in the system.
What if the trip doesn't happen due to the requester?
If an already paid and confirmed journey does not take place due to the customer, the system treats the situation as a standard cancellation. The applicable cancellation rules are therefore applied automatically, which in practice means forfeiture of the 25% reservation deposit. This non-refundable amount belongs to the verified carrier as compensation for blocking the vehicle's capacity and any lost profit. The claim to a refund of the remaining funds paid then depends on how much time remained before the originally planned departure.
What if the trip doesn't happen due to the carrier?
If a bindingly confirmed journey does not take place due to the verified carrier, the customer incurs no financial loss whatsoever. In such an exceptional situation, the system promptly triggers an immediate refund process and returns all funds paid so far in full without delay. This direct procedure guarantees one-hundred-percent protection of the finances and allows a new request to be created immediately to find a replacement transport provider.
Can I create a new request after a cancellation?
Yes, after cancelling the original order there are no restrictions whatsoever on submitting a new one in the system. Creating an entirely new request is, on the contrary, the standard and necessary procedure in situations where a previous journey was cancelled or a need arose to fundamentally change key parameters (for example the date, route or required vehicle capacity). The system is immediately ready to accept a new request and start brokering current offers from available verified carriers.
Can I change the route or number of children after submitting?
No. Once the request has been submitted, the route, number of passengers and other key trip parameters can no longer be changed. These details directly affect the price, bus capacity and carrier offers. If you need to change something substantial, please create a new request. That way carriers get the correct information and offers stay fair and comparable.
What should I do if the departure time or route changes at the last minute?
Have a simple procedure ready for unexpected situations: one main contact through whom the change is quickly sent to all participants. Minor adjustments are easy to handle if you have a time buffer and a plan B thought through in advance. The key is to inform the group and the driver as soon as possible.
What if the number of passengers changes?
Once you send the request out to carriers, its main parameters can no longer be rewritten in the system, so that the offers received stay fair and precisely comparable. If you find out that a significantly different number of people will ultimately travel with you, and you therefore need a completely different type of bus, simply cancel the original request and submit a new one with the current details.
Can the route be adjusted during the trip?
Minor operational adjustments, such as an unplanned short restroom stop, can usually be arranged easily with the driver on the spot. But if you needed to change the route substantially, add entirely new places or extend the overall trip time, this must be resolved with the carrier in advance. Such changes affect the price and, moreover, must fit within the strict legal limits for mandatory driver safety breaks.
Can an order be cancelled?
Yes, you can of course cancel your order. Until you select a specific offer, your request is entirely non-binding. Once you pay the reservation deposit and firmly confirm the trip, any cancellation is governed by the transparent cancellation terms of the platform and the chosen carrier. You will always be clearly informed of these terms before you confirm the payment itself.
Can we change the route after creating the request?
So that carriers' offers are fair and precisely comparable, the main parameters of a request can no longer be edited directly after it has been submitted. If you need to make a substantial change to the route before choosing a carrier, we recommend submitting a new request. Minor details can then be easily fine-tuned directly with the specific carrier.
What if the plan changes during the trip?
We understand that anything can happen on the road. The driver will gladly resolve minor operational changes with you on the spot. Larger interventions in the route or significant delays, however, must always be communicated, because they can disrupt the aforementioned legal limits on the driver's driving time and can affect the final transport price.
Can I change the route or the number of people?
After the request is submitted, the main details can no longer be changed, so carriers don't price different inputs. If you need to change the route, date or number of passengers, create a new request. You can cancel the original one.
Carriers & verification
How do you verify carriers?
Before an account is fully activated, every registered carrier goes through a strict approval process that includes a detailed check of company data and the necessary professional authorizations. After successful vetting, the profile receives a clearly visible verification status. This transparent indicator then serves as an instant guarantee of reliability when browsing offers, whether the platform is being used as a customer, another carrier, or merely a guest.
Are the carriers vetted?
Yes, all the key company data of transport providers is subject to thorough checking. Moreover, the result of this process is fully transparent and takes the form of a visual verification status, which is permanently displayed on every submitted offer and directly in the specific carrier's profile. Thanks to this, this clear indicator of reliability and trustworthiness is immediately visible to all platform users, whether they access the system as a customer, a cooperating carrier, or merely an unregistered guest.
How do I recognise a good carrier?
A reliable transport provider can be safely recognized in the system based on several key indicators. The absolute basis is the visible verification status, which confirms the validity of the company data and compliance with the platform's conditions. For further objective assessment of quality there is a transparent rating system that collects real experiences and reviews from previously completed journeys. All these parameters, including the overall clarity of a specific offer, are clearly and permanently available to all users in the interface.
How does carrier rating work?
After a journey is successfully completed, the option to objectively evaluate the overall course of the cooperation is activated. This transparent feedback system directly shapes the carrier's public profile and becomes a key parameter for assessing the quality of their services. Published reviews and the achieved score are then permanently visible to all visitors of the platform, which greatly simplifies orientation and the safe selection of the optimal offer for any further journey.
Can I see the carrier's name in advance?
The name of the specific carrier and their complete contact details are fully revealed only after the required payment has been successfully credited. Until payment is made, the exact identity of the transport provider remains hidden, which primarily serves as necessary protection of the system against circumventing the platform and closing orders outside of it. Once the reservation is bindingly confirmed by payment, however, all the information needed for direct communication before the upcoming journey is made available immediately.
Why aren't some carrier details visible right away?
Temporarily hiding sensitive and contact information before the reservation is confirmed serves as the platform's primary protective mechanism against circumvention. This necessary measure effectively prevents attempts to close deals outside the secure interface before the order is paid. After the payment is successfully credited, however, this system lock immediately disappears and all the necessary details about the transport provider are automatically revealed for the smooth finalization of the journey.
Who is responsible for the transport itself?
Full legal and operational responsibility for the course of the journey itself always lies solely with the selected transport provider. In this process the platform acts purely as a technological intermediary that ensures a secure connection between the parties, a clear comparison of offers and protection of financial transactions. All matters regarding the physical performance of the journey, passenger safety or the technical condition of the vehicle thus fall entirely within the direct competence of the specific carrier.
What if I have a problem with the carrier?
In the event of any complications with the transport provider, it is essential to report the situation without delay through the official Find-Bus customer support. Passing on the information promptly enables a quick intervention and the initiation of adequate corrective steps. The subsequent resolution always depends on the nature of the specific issues and the current phase of the reservation, with the system's priority being maximum cooperation to ensure a smooth journey or, where necessary, the immediate drawing of the appropriate consequences.
Are drivers used to school trips?
Absolutely, children's safety is our top priority. On the platform we work exclusively with fully verified professional carriers who have rich experience transporting school groups. Your trip will be in safe and reliable hands.
What technologies are standard in modern buses?
It depends on the specific vehicle and carrier. Newer buses commonly cover things like GPS, a tachograph, air conditioning, safety systems, communication tools or passenger amenities. The specific details should be shown with the bus equipment in the offer.
How do you keep an eye on driver working-time rules?
The driver's working time and breaks are the carrier's responsibility. Find-Bus helps you set up the trip so the carrier gets accurate details about the route, times and stops and can prepare a realistic offer.
Is tachograph data available in reports?
Not automatically for the organiser. The tachograph primarily serves the carrier and inspection authorities to record driving and rest times. If the organiser needs a specific confirmation or report, this has to be arranged individually with the carrier.
How do you verify carriers?
For carriers we check basic details, authorisations, documents, insurance and other requirements needed to join the platform. The goal is for only carriers who meet the set conditions to operate on Find-Bus.
How do I recognise a safe bus?
A safe bus has a valid roadworthiness test, regular servicing, working seat belts and equipment matching the offer. With each offer you see the specific vehicle, its age and equipment, and you can review the carrier's ratings from previous customers. If in doubt, simply ask the carrier about the details before you choose.
Are all seats in the bus equipped with seat belts?
You will see information about seat belts in the equipment of the specific bus in the carrier's offer. Thanks to this, you can verify before choosing whether the bus meets your requirements for passenger safety and comfort.
What if the route or departure time changes?
After the request is sent, the route, number of people and other main details can no longer be edited directly. If the requirements change significantly, you need to create a new request so that carriers receive accurate information and can prepare the right offer.
What to do in case of an emergency during the trip?
Follow the instructions of the driver and the agreed main contact. For important trips we recommend having a designated contact person, a passenger list and a basic communication plan in case of a delay or change of programme in advance.
Who is responsible for any fines during the trip?
The carrier is responsible for operating the vehicle, the documents, the technical condition, the tachograph and compliance with regulations under the applicable rules. Find-Bus helps with choosing a verified carrier and with better trip preparation.
Is it possible to get recommendations on driver breaks?
Yes, for longer routes it is important to allow for realistic time, breaks and driver rules. A well-prepared itinerary helps prevent delays and unnecessary complications.
Why is a bus technical inspection so important?
The safety of dozens of passengers is an absolute priority. Buses are subject to far stricter and more frequent inspections than passenger cars. Regular technical maintenance and a valid roadworthiness test not only guarantee compliance with strict legal standards, but above all minimise the risk of a breakdown on the road and ensure a smooth and safe course of your entire tour.
What does INSID check during a roadside inspection?
During roadside inspections, inspectors focus on comprehensive safety. They check the technical condition of the bus, the validity of all documents, and above all the data from the tachograph – that is, whether the driver is not exceeding the permitted driving time and is observing mandatory breaks. Carriers on our platform are professionals for whom complying with these regulations is a matter of course, so a routine inspection on the road won't hold you up in any way.
How do I know the driver follows the rest regime?
As the customer, you don't have to oversee this – it is continuously monitored for you by the digital tachograph right in the bus and by strict legislation. But here's a huge advantage: our smart Find-Bus system plans these mandatory breaks automatically for you. As soon as you enter your itinerary into the request, the platform itself calculates and proposes the route so that the driver's legally required breaks naturally blend with your planned stops and programme.
Can I request photos or documents in advance?
You'll see photos of the specific bus completely transparently right with every offer received, so you know exactly which vehicle you'll travel in already when choosing. As for direct communication with the carrier and further questions, that is unlocked in the system only after the reservation is firmly confirmed and the deposit is paid. The basic vetting of all mandatory documents and the professionalism of carriers, however, is done for you automatically by the Find-Bus platform already at their registration.
For carriers
What does Find-Bus cost a carrier?
Registration itself and the subsequent receipt of relevant requests are completely free for transport providers. The platform is financed solely through a service fee, which only becomes due at the moment a specific order is successfully confirmed. This model guarantees absolutely zero entry costs, with the service fee - set as a percentage in advance - applied exclusively to journeys actually brokered.
Does a carrier pay anything up front?
No, transport providers do not pay any entry fees whatsoever merely for creating a profile or browsing current requests. The system works entirely without any need for upfront payments, as the platform is financed solely through a service fee. This particular cost is charged strictly only at the moment an order is successfully brokered and bindingly confirmed, which gives carriers completely risk-free access to new business opportunities.
Why does Find-Bus charge a service fee?
This service fee primarily ensures stable operation, continuous technological development and the maintenance of the entire platform. The funds collected cover the extensive costs associated with active marketing to acquire new requests, the running of professional customer support and the careful verification of individual user profiles. It is precisely thanks to this functional financing model that it is possible to maintain, over the long term, an ecosystem of advanced digital tools that makes carriers' everyday access to real orders on the market as simple and clear as possible.
When is the service fee calculated?
The service fee is calculated exclusively for orders successfully obtained through the Find-Bus platform, strictly in accordance with its applicable rules. What is charged is therefore always an actually brokered business opportunity, not merely creating a user profile or passively accessing the overview of available requests in the system. This transparent model reliably guarantees carriers that they incur no financial obligations whatsoever in advance and pay fees only for business that is actually carried out.
Does a carrier see the terms of cooperation in advance?
Yes, all the binding rules and contractual terms for using the platform are fully available to transport providers before any activity even begins. Every registered entity is guaranteed the opportunity to familiarize themselves in detail with the complete principles of how the system works well in advance, which ensures maximum transparency of the whole process. This procedure safely guarantees that the mutual interaction is entered into with a completely clear awareness of all rights and obligations before the first real order is accepted.
Why should a carrier use Find-Bus?
The main benefit of the system is the centralization of relevant orders in one place, which allows transport providers to efficiently fill their free capacity without the need for constant investment in their own marketing. This functional model significantly saves the time and money otherwise required to actively search for new clients. At the same time, every registered entity has full control over which brokered journeys they select and can respond entirely flexibly only to those requests that exactly match their current time availability and available fleet, thereby maximizing overall utilization.
Can a carrier edit or cancel an offer?
A transport provider has full control over their offer and can modify it or withdraw it entirely at will, right up until the moment it is finally accepted by the customer. Once a binding selection and confirmation of the reservation takes place, however, the ability to freely edit closes and any subsequent changes are then strictly subject to the rules for making changes and the specifications of the given order. This established mechanism ensures maximum flexibility in the submission phase and at the same time guarantees the necessary stability for all parties involved immediately after the agreement is approved.
When does the carrier get paid?
Releasing the final payment for the services provided is firmly tied in the system to the demonstrable and successful completion of the agreed journey. If the transport itself goes perfectly and without any reported complications, the funds are sent to the verified carrier's account as standard within 7 days of its completion. This mechanism, which is governed by the platform's set rules and the specifications of the specific order, protects the held funds until the last moment and guarantees a completely safe and transparent settlement of the entire transaction.
Who issues the invoice for the customer?
Our system does it for you. Find-Bus generates the invoice in your name with all the required details. You just download it.
What if the trip runs longer than planned?
The Transport Agreement covers additional costs caused by the client. Everything is transparently covered in our Terms and Conditions.
Price calculator
Is the calculator result binding?
No. The calculator only provides an approximate price estimate. You get an exact offer from a specific carrier based on the route, date, vehicle availability and other conditions.
Why is the price only approximate?
The real price involves more factors than just distance. What matters is bringing the bus from the depot, driver waiting time, the date, tolls, parking, the type of bus and any additional requirements.
What if I want an exact offer?
After the calculation you can submit a request right away. Carriers receive the same brief and send you specific offers to compare.
Do I have to submit the request right away?
No. You can use the calculator just for orientation. If you want to continue, you can use the details for a non-binding request.
Does the calculator work for trips abroad?
Yes, the calculator can help with international trips too. However, for those the difference between the estimate and the real price tends to be bigger due to tolls, parking, city access fees, multi-day routes or driver regulations.
Is the calculator result binding?
No, the calculation is entirely non-binding and serves as a basic guide. You get the exact, final price only once you submit a request for free and receive real offers from verified carriers. They factor the type of bus, the date and any parking or toll charges precisely into the price.
Why is the price only an estimate?
Pricing in bus transport is complex. Besides the kilometres actually driven, it is affected by factors such as motorway tolls in the given countries, the driver's waiting time on site, seasonal demand or the distance of the depot from the departure point. The calculator estimates these variables based on average market data, but the exact pricing is always done by the specific carrier.
What if I only want a one-way trip?
For one-way trips you need to bear in mind that the bus often has to return empty to its home depot. That is why the price usually isn't exactly half of a round trip, because the carrier has to factor in the cost of this necessary return journey without passengers.
Do I have to submit the request right away?
Not at all. Our calculator is available to you completely free and with no obligation whatsoever, so you can get a rough idea of your budget. Once you're ready and want to know the exact prices, you simply turn the entered details into a real request.
Does the calculator send offers without a phone number?
For a quick indicative calculation in the calculator we don't need any contact details. If you then decide to get specific offers, we'll ask you for basic contacts (email and phone). That lets us securely notify you about new offers and ensure smooth communication with carriers.
